Ikrar pengawas SAS

Booh.

So... Lately, I didn't update anything, because... ALRIGHT! I WAS TOO LAZY AND GOT ADDICTED TO CONDITION ZERO! Well... I got selected as the head prefect of the afternoon session, with the shiny badge with "KET. PENGAWAS" on it. Oh, and don't mind the prefect oath below, I posted it there for reference purposes.

Bahawa dengan sesungguhnya,
Kami, pengawas-pengawas SMSAS,
Berikrar bahawa kami akan:
Menjalankan tugas kami dengan penuh dedikasi;
Memikul tanggungjawab kami dengan jujur serta bersifat adil dan saksama;
Bersopan-santun, berdisiplin dan mematuhi peraturan-peraturan sekolah pada setiap masa;
Berusaha untuk memelihara dan mengekalkan nama baik sekolah.

Oh, and Valve are bastards for postponing HL2: Episode 2.

A pretty eventful day.

... No, not because today is Valentine's Day.

Whoa, 1 and a half week without a post. Achk. I have a long post, about last week, right now, in my drafts, which I'm too lazy to write. So, today was a pretty up(Sorta) and down day.

Oh, and the number 14, which is inauspiscious for us Chinese, might be the reason why for today. :P

English
Went to SAS at 10 a.m today, for our first English society meet. Ironically, only 10 out of around 70(According to the teacher) registered members turned up. There were a few more who came for the society, but got lost and couldn't find where were we as we were in a kinda hidden class. Our proper meeting place was locked with no keys. Nice.

So, we picked the four main comitee members today, despite the low number of those who attended the meet. Guess who got the president spot out of three others by a 5-3-3-3 votes win? Sheesh, I'm gonna get you guys, someday(:P). Her Man was selected as the vice-president, our ex-prefect of SSP is secretary and Ducky as treasurer(Again). The funny thing was, all four of us are ex-SSPians.

So, as the president, I had to stand at the front, chalk in hand, and note what was important on the blackboard and do some suggestions/talk. We had our activities planned, the list below;
  1. Singing/Music listening(We are asked to bring CDs and lyrics. Strangely, our teacher allowed us to bring songs with vulgar content, saying that we can then discuss about it and state the message being sent by the singer. :P)
  2. Round-robin writing.(Suggested by me. A lil' activity where we take turns to complete some essay.)
  3. Word games.(Scrabble, crossword, etc.)
  4. Essay/Story writing.
  5. Drama plays.
  6. Choral speaking
7 and 8: I forgot, please don't kill me!

We discussed on some of the other society matters, like fees and time. After a few jokes, we managed to have everything solved and ready for the next meet... Which is like, in the next 3-4 weeks because of exam and the Chinese New Year holidays. The meet ended an hour earlier than expected, at 11 a.m.

Threatened? I think so.
Well, I had to stay back after the English society meet, along with some other friends. Had a somewhat early lunch, consisting of a bowl of mee-hoon soup, two curry paus, chrysanthemum tea and a packet of orange soft-drink(People ask why I'm thin).

So, after eating(11.50 a.m, I think), Roshan and I decided to start our prefect duties early. We donned our ties, pinned our prefect tags, and started walking around. We saw three afternoon session students(Three idiots who break the school rules, to be precise.) coming into the school with KFC take-aways, but without their school bags. Obviously, they had left the school compund, which was forbidden once you have arrived at the school. The teachers had been ranting about this the day before, saying that if an accident happens, the school is always the one taking responsibility. Therefore, we had no choice but to take down their names.

They didn't know that we had their names written, as they were at a distance. But strangely, they later confronted us, viciously. It seems they know that we had their names written(No idea how they found out, I suspect Mel Yee, another prefect who passed by me and Roshan when taking down their names for telling them.). To further prove that, Mel Yee was with them, standing at the back like an idiot. It also seems that one of them idiots had brought their form 5 brother along.

*Sigh* Yes? What is it? The brother asked if either it was I or Roshan who wrote his brother's name. Roshan didn't say anything, therefore, being a retard like usual, I said that it was me. He stared at me for awhile, then opened his mouth. "0Mg!!!!1111 u s|-|uld \/\/r+e hi5 n4m3 m0r3 often!!!111" and he gave me a pat in the back.

Oook...

Then he started saying that they were ordered to buy food for them by a form 5 "taiko(Literally, big brother, but it is mostly used for big boss)" or something like that, I wasn't really paying much attention. Well, Roshan finally did something, saying why we had to write their names. Alright, after both of us and him "conversing" peacefully for a few minutes, he finally reached an agreement after he gave up trying to scare us with this "taiko". He agreed what we did was right, and gave me a pat on the back again, saying "Wah, form 1 prefect better than form 5 prefect! Good!"

Then, he left. This agreement seems to anger two of the idiots. They gave us threats in Chinese, which was funny, because I only know abit of Mandarin and Cantonese while Roshan know none. Then Mel Yee, came to us and say that their "taiko" is very dangerous and should be feared. Haha. Seriously, he's a friggin' prefect. How can he tell us to be afraid of the very group that we, the prefects are supposed to be against?

Roshan was kinda paranoid, I don't know why. He later came and find to tell me that their "taiko" might be real. Seriously, I doubt he even exists. Especially when the idiot's brother was telling us about him. He was smiling all the while, as if he was telling a joke. Sheesh. Anyway, at the end of school, Roshan looked for me again, and asked me to tell the discipline teacher about the threat with him. Well, I guess that is the best thing to do now, anyway. So, we did. Unfortunately, we got this reply, "73|| m3 2m0rr0w..."

Ah well, at least we tried. :P

Valentines
Ok, the girls seem to take notice of this event more than us guys. Starting from when I came to school for English society, until the time I left school. The girls were either jumping around, hugging each other wishing "HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!" or chattering about their availability around us guys. Riiighht...

Today is also the birthday of two of my friends. I enjoy having friends with birthdays falling on this peculiar day. It's fun wishing them "Happy birthday+ Valentine's day! Now, do you want a partner as a birthday present?!" and watching their faces especially Thayaalan. :P

Happy buuuurthday Thayaalan and Al-Azim. :)

Oh, and thanks for the happy Valentine's day wishes from my close friends, showing me that Valentine's day isn't stereotypically just for lovers. Happy Valentine's days to you all, too.

And before I forget... Erm... Thanks for the "Happy Singles Awareness Day" wishes. I guess.

Racist Science.
Ever heard of Ketuanan Melayu? Well, our Malay Science teacher has hinted that she is a racist today.

Well, today, we did the pendulum swing experiment today, where we calculate the time taken for the pendulum to make 10 complete swings. The day before, she handed us some "expensive green paper" with worksheets printed on it. Seriously, the only expensive green paper I know of are dollar bills and the one made out of elephant dung. She said that it was so expensive, we must not ruin the paper with correction tape and erasings. The worksheet that was printed on the paper was, well, a direct copy of the same exercise we have in our Science Practical workbook. Boy, talking about inconveniences.

She told us to do our experiments, and record our results. Now, this is where I get pissed off. She didn't say where, making us record it in our "expensive green papers." At the end of the lesson, she said in a very, very nagging tone, that she wants us to record our results in our SP workbook. This part also pisses me off. She then states no one is to record it in the paper, except for the two groups which she had "checked" to make sure that their findings are 100% similar to hers. Wow, now you tell us, and, 100% similar to her results? What. The. Hell.

Now, the two groups which she had "checked" with hinted to us that she MIGHT be racist. Ok, let me give a rough layout of the groups in the Science lab. 1rst on the left is an all Malay group, beside them is my group, multi-racial. Behind us is an all Indian group, on their left is a multi-racial group, and the two groups behind us are all Malays. Occasionally, she gave us some naggings, like "j00 /\/\u57 |37 73|-| p3|\|du|uM 4t 30 d3gr33s!!!111" or "j00 4r3 d0i|\|g i7 wr0|\|g!!111" without actually telling us how to do that or what is wrong. The worst part is when she kept on excessively nagging that our results will be wrong if we did it the wrong way from the next table, without even telling us what is wrong. She spent half of the 1 hour Science lesson on the group beside us, watching them do their experiment and helping them. Ok, next, it should be our turn to be checked and helped, right? Wrong. She straight away went to one of the two Malay groups at the back, and spent the next half an hour there.

Sheesh, one of the worst teachers ever.

SAS, SAGS and BB dance?

Please, don't save the last dance.

A few days ago, a friend of mine showed me a form. Guess what it read? "Sri Aman(SAGS) Valentine Dance."

...

Yeah, right. Riiiiiiggghhhttt... I wasn't sure if it was real, I wanted to ask sis, but she didn't come online and I was too lazy to SMS her. I was also hinted that BB students might be involved. A friend of mine, from BB, posted this on his MSN. "Im DateLESS 4 the dancE....." Oook, so the dance might be real and BB might be involved. How I know BB is involved in the same dance? BB is a friggin' all-guys school. Hm, BB=All-guys, SAGS=All-girls, SAS=Co-ed. Do I see a pattern here?

Well, I don't feel like going anyway. Unless of course, someone asks me to accompany them. I can't say no, now can I? ;)

The full answer million dollar question by everyone about me.

What exactly is this question? It's been asked more often by "0Mgz0rZ!!!11 |-|3lp m3 plzzzplzzz!!!!!111" by both guys and girls alike which is almost everyday. I never heard this question for a few months now, until this friggin' dance thing started up.

For the last time, no, I don't have a girlfriend, and neither do I want one, now.

The reply? "0Mgz0rZ rly!?!?!??111 duN'7 li3!!!! i kn0w j00 h4f!!!111"

Seriously, I don't, and like I've stated, have no intention of having one. If I wanted a girlfriend, I would have one, or two, or a few, by now. No, really. I'm not kidding. There's some girls who... Um... Well, lets just say, would agree if I asked them to be my partner.

"i noe j00 li3!!!11 i wiLl finD whu i5 j0r gF!!!!11"

*Sigh*, fine. Try as much as you like, but nothing is what you'll find. And no, the girls who sent me testimonials on my profile aren't anything more than close-friends or family, idiot. Oh, and by the way, stop spreading them stupid rumours if you can't seem to find the end of your retarded quest.

Now, please, shoot yourself.

A shoutout to Roshan, my friend since 7. My condolences to your grandparents who were brutally murdered by some heartless bastards. May your grandparents find peace and deaths be avenged by justice.

Cross country running (Part 2)

It's more like zigzags than crossing...
Part 1

Guys. You know that when running over your limits your chest will soon feel pressurized and that sucks. Right? Well, when going through the residential area, each of us(Me, Duck, Hew Gin and Nico) started to experience just that. We were running when suddenly, Duck stopped and yelled out. Immediately, each of us halted our run and turned over to look at Duck. As I asked what was the matter, I clutched my chest and kneeled down. I held back the pain and restrained from yelling. Unfortunately, doing so made saliva drool from my mouth, much to the disgust of my buddies.

Our two other friends who were still in fine condition helped us up. As we got back on our feet, Hew Gin, too, began to feel the ache. We decided to continue on walking, seeing that Nico was still fine, we told him to run on. He agreed, but only after a few metres, he slowed down, and we caught up with him. We suggested to him that he walk all the way with us too, but he rejected the suggestion and ran on. Well, it seems that he resisted the pain to run. That later brought him a disastrous result(Read on.). We caught up with him later by jogging.

Well, after passing by SSP and before we broke up at the main road sidewalk, Duck had almost gone back to the residential area. From the main road, it was joined to a smaller street, leading back to the start of the residential area. This, I don't know why, he seems real blur. Even with a sign held by a PBSM showing that we are to continue on straight, along the main road, instead of left, he still went left. I called out to him. He still went on. I opened langkah seribu, and caught him by his collar. I pointed to the sign, and dragged him by his collar for a few metres.

This was not the first time Duck had been so absent minded and blur. A few months ago, while on the way to our Prefects' Night at PD, Negri Sembilan, organised by our school, our bus stopped at one of the station stops(I think it was the Nilai station) for lunch. After lunch, I and Duck needed to answer nature's call. To cut a long story short, Duck nearly went into the womens' loo, if I hadn't held his collar when I realized where he nearly had gone. It was funny, he actually had already took a few steps in the loo without realising his mistake. :P

Along the whole length of the race, I noticed that a lot of the runners either had brought their players or walkman phones with them. They either listened to their music through earphones, or in-built speakers were blasting it. Now, I don't have anything against music, but leaving them barely tight in your weak palms or have them in your tiny pockets as if it was dropping out is just inviting trouble. Seriously, you're on a sidewalk, some criminal's on a motorbike, he= rides slowly towards you, snatches your player, and speeds off. I'm pretty sure he'll be laughing his ass off, especially if you do not have enough stamina or are to tired to catch him or to memorize the license plate number. One of the reasons why I left my Vision: M at Her Man's house. Still wanting to bring your RM1 200 phone out? Why, thank you for the Sony Ericsson W850i, then.

(After meeting up with Duck after splitting up,) about 0.5KM left to the race, we approached two PBSMs. Duck was dying of thirst, his face fully red. As we got closer, I noticed that one of those PBSMs were familiar. "Ei, Joce! Got any water left? Duck's getting dehydrated." I shouted, realizing who the PBSM was. We learned that there wasn't any water left(For real), but there were some ice left in their ice box. Duck and Hew Gin rushed towards them for some ice, I jogged on. Duck caught up with me, and offered an ice cube to me. I took the ice cube and washed my face with the cool liquid that melted from the ice. After freshening myself up, I handed the ice cube back to Duck. Hew Gin caught up, he had popped the ice cube into his mouth, and was sucking at it happily.

Now, SAS was in sight. I and Duck quickened our pace, leaving Hew Gin behind. There is a reason why I don't and never use up all my stamina. Duck fell on the sidewalk. Time to put my remaining energy to action. I carried him on my shoulder for awhile until he felt better and able to walk. We entered the school grounds only to see a pair of PBSMs leaving it with a stretcher. Hm, who's unlucky one today?. As we went up the slope at school, one of the red house seniors was at the end of the slope, and started to mock me as I was in the red house unlike Duck. Feeling that I still have leftover stamina, I let out a (battle :P)cry and ran, ran using up all my strength. I passed the finishing line and stumbled as I slowed down. I leaned on a pillar and gave deep breaths. Duck came jogging a minute later. My lips curled and made a smirk as I sighed. It's over, we made it.

I went to the end of the canteen, looking for a place to sit and inspect the ache on my right toe. I found Has, sitting on a bench, and sat beside him. We exchanged greetings, and I removed my right shoe and stocking. What I found wasn't so bad as I expected. My toenail has split, not all the way, but half. Half of my toenail was sticking out. I placed my right foot on the bench(Hey, who cares about hygiene now? Some were even sitting on the tables.) ala tauke kedai. After a while, Roshan came and sat beside me. He had a bandage covering his left leg, red with blood. Not only was the bandage bloody, his stocking was too. Learned that he had fallen down.

Seeing his injury, I remember seeing a girl being pushed on a wheelchair by a PBSM while leaning on the pillar after crossing the finish line. She looked kind of mentally retarded, and kept on moving and twitching. My guess, she got a seizure during the race. It seems she was the unlucky one who got the stretcher.

Next person who came and sat with us was Nico. He was clutching his chest, and his was looked screwed up. "Told yah not to force yourself when you feel pressure on your chest." was my reply to his condition. I said nothing and sat down. Heh, he later kept on complaining about chest pain when we were walking to Her Man's house. Not so tough now eh? :P

After watching the four heads of each sports house hit each other with the houses' respective flags in front of the HeadMistress(It did happen, really!) in what was supposed to be the prize giving ceremony, the red house was announced as the house with the most points gained during this race.

Projects

Getting out of hand.

I'm really crowded with projects. Helping my brother design a banner/poster for a talk(I think) in his uni(Done yesterday, will upload it on my dA in a few days)... The stupid civics diary thingy that I've been ranting about in my last post... Helping my friend ripping some DVDs through MSN... Making the new layout of this blog(:P)... And today, joined an image contest at Warboards. Well, at least the contest gives me two weeks to do. So, yay.

Oh, and I have two drawings I've done at art class in school. I'll scan and upload them when I have the time. I'll also write the rest of the cross country run tonight, since tomorrow's a public holiday. (Yay for Thaipusam.)

Cakes and splatters

More of the above!

Some words
Guess who's birthday is today? Heh :D

Blog layout
Soooo... I decided to ditch the old layout I was working on. It didn't work out as I planned. Anyway, now that I think of it, it's too ordinary. Therefore, now I'll be working on a new one, inspired by my deviantArt avatar. I also got a better blog name, which too, was based on my deviantart avatar. So, wish me luck with this new layout!

Civics
It seems our civics teacher loves to give us stu-... Bizzare work. Guess what she gave us yesterday? Write a diary, with one entry each day, from the 1rst of January to the 31rst. The hell? It was the 24th, and she told us to write entries starting from the 1rst?! To make matters worse, she said there must have a special event on each entry.

So, let me get this straight. You want us to make diary entries of the past, each entry/day must have a special event and on the 24th? Does that mean I can write like the following?

1rst Jan- Woke up at 3 P.M! A new record!
2nd Jan- Finished every single game I'm currently playing right now, since school's starting.
3rd Jan- I took my first step in SAS! A historical moment! Place it in the archives!
4th Jan- I got my first homework..! Yay...
5th Jan- The first Friday of the year!
6th Jan- Went to Sunway. Bought a copy of HL2 which I'm 100% sure won't expire in 30 days like the previous copy I had.
7th Jan- 18 more days till my birthday! Very special!

Etc... Etc... Etc...

How the hell are we gonna do it?!

Oh, and she seems to have forgotten about my digital artwork. She didn't ask for it eventhough I have it at school yesterday. Hm...
